Chari's Porridge

Ingredients:

Water, tap, 10 cup (8 fl oz)
Steel Cut Oats, dry, 1/2 cup
Bulgur, dry, 1/2 cup
Barley, pearled, raw, 1/2 cup
Oatmeal, thick cut 1/2 cup
Oat Bran, 1/4 cup
Wheat bran, 1/4 cup
Bob's Red Mill Whole Ground Flaxseed Meal, 2 Tbsp.
Raisins, 1/2 cup, packed
Almonds, 1/3 cup, slivered
splenda to taste
Cinnamon , pinch or 2

Cook water, steel cut oats, bulgur and barley 15 minutes then add remaining ingredients, simmer till chewy, about 30 minutes. Sometimes I have to add more water. This freezes well. Also dried or fresh fruits can be added.

These totals are for the whole recipe, I got 14 servings at 1/2 cup cooked each.
